Azzurra Pizzeria in Sea Isle City

An okay place if you're looking for a simple go-to place when there aren't many other options. The pizza is good, but very generic. Their cheese steaks are also tasty but the portion sizes can be a bit larger. The place looks rather fancy from the outside but the interior is very plain and cramped.

Buffalo chicken pizza is great

My wife and I ordered the margherita pizza and it was absolutely phenomenal! The pizza sauce was well seasoned and it wasn't as acidic as most other pizza sauces, which complements the mozzarella and basil quite nicely. We got the family size which was plenty of pizza for two people + leftovers! Azzurra's is definitely on the top of the list for my family's pizza nights! Great experience!

Great food

The owners and managing staff do not care about their employees at all. A man that works there was taking photos of the young girls who were also employees and when it was brought to the attention of the owners nothing was done about the appalling situation. It took one of the young girls' parents to bring the situation to a close. Extremely rude and disrespectful. They do not know how to run a business. I wouldn't waste my time and money on a business that refuses protect their employees... imagine how they treat the customers..... Enough said. DO NOT GET FOOD HERE. I wish I could put less than one star. Lost 3 employees Saturday night. BYE!

Love, love the food. It was so delicious, that you would expect a lil old Italian grandma to step from the kitchen. Every dish that we ordered taste like it was prepared with so much love and heart. We ordered, penne a la vodka, cauliflower cheese pizza, and chicken parmigiana. We will be going back soon. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

My first and last meal here. When we went to order, the service was distracted and VERY slow. Also, the food was expensive and you had to pay for refills. The food was average and nothing special. The only thing they specialize in is White Pizza. Decor isn't that great either. I wouldn't reccommend this to families wanting to sit and enjoy their food.

I was very disappointed in Azzurras this season due to the lack of effort from staff. I ordered from here multiple times this week on our family vacation and was disappointed. The first time we order we got the meat lovers pizza and it was covered in fat from the bacon. The second time I ordered a pasta dish that comes with a salad and garlic bread. I did not receiver either of the sides. The next time we ordered I got a different pasta dish and the noodles were not cooked all the way and the shrimp was over cooked and again I did not receive my salad or garlic bread after reminding them over the phone when I placed the order. Overall I was very disappointed compared to last season.

Food was good. There were 5 in our party and we all ordered something different. When we placed our order at the counter, the girl there was not very friendly or attentive to us. She repeated back our order and forgot two of our sandwiches. When the same counter girl brought us our food, she plopped each of our entrees in the middle of the table , causing my son's sandwich to fall off the plate. Other than the poor customer service, I have no complaints about this establishment. The counter girl was more interested in sitting at a table with a friend, rather than checking on any of the customers sitting in our section.

My family and I recently had dinner at Azzurra Pizzeria and we had a GREAT meal. My wife ordered a salad and it was huge and very fresh. Our pizzas were done perfectly. Just the right amount of sauce, cheese, and crispness. I also had a couple of slices of sicilian that were really, really good. For dessert we got cannolis and they were awesome. We got to meet the new owners and they couldn't have been nicer. In fact, everybody we met there was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is big with plenty of seating (both inside and outside) and very clean.The next time we are visiting the Jersey Shore, we will definitely make the drive to Sea Isle for some pizza at Azzurra!

I've been a resident of Sea Isle City my whole life. I love the town the local businesses especially Azzurra's! They are in my top 3 for the best pizza on the island, especially their famous white pizza. The service is always great and the staff are always kind and helpful. The rest of the food on their menu is also very good. Their prices are comparable to what you will see at other places down the shore. You can tell they take pride in their food, customer experience, and their name. Definitely a staple business in sea isle city!

Pizza was great, but they don't know how to cut their pizza

I stopped in Sea Isle City before my trip to Cape May. I stopped in this pizzeria because it said "Home of the White Pie". As soon as I walked in I had a hard time choosing. I tried white with the ricotta & garlic, white ricotta with spinach & chicken and to top it off I had a plain slice. My daughter has penne Alfredo. I ate all 3 slices. They were delicious. My daughter loved her Alfredo. I overheard customers saying they were new owners. On my wAy back from Cape May I'm stopping to get a pie!

Pizza order of 4 pies was told 1 hour. Two and a half hours and after numerous calls they produced 3 pizzas. 3 hrs later they finally delivered the last pizza and charged another 19$ for it.... to boot I told the delivery man how horrible the experience was and he told me to call oogies (as in uncle oogies a local pizza shop). Vacation town or not, crowds or not. They treated me and my family with total disrespect. I will never spend a penny with poeple like this. Will do what I can that others do not business with people like this. If you want to spend $85 for 4 pizzas and get strung along for 3 hours and deal with incompetence... order here. Else stay away.
